SU Family enjoys early Christmas
It was nothing but joy in the air as the OOC Team and volunteers from all the other departments lit the Christmas lights at the central parking area on the mine. The team went all out to ensure that there was enough joy in the air to further ignite the Christmas spirit.

As a token of appreciation, EXCO has entrusted OOC to prepare a gift hamper to each and every SU employee. After weeks of preparation, the bags are finally ready, and the OOC team saw to it that all SU employees received a goodie bag filled with pleasantries.

Many employees were pleasantly surprised as they disembarked the busses at the start of their shift in the morning and the afternoon. As if the cheers and sounds of the day were not enough, the OOC team also made a call to Madam Santa who came from the North Pole earlier than usual much to the delight of many who were happy to have a discussion on what they want for Christmas and of course to take many pictures as proof that they had a personal conversation with Santa.

Madam Santa also made sure to catch the nightshift employees as they were ready to board the busses after 21-days of continuous operations.

Many employees expressed their gratitude towards the company and said this was a “very kind and beautiful gesture” especially after the year that was. Other employees said this truly testifies to SU slogan of “more than mining” and that they would share the hamper with their children and tell them how Santa surprised them at work.
