The Namibia Police is the national police force of Namibia and is responsible for ensuring law and order in the community.

In recognition of the good work and to further aid the efficiency of the Namibia Police Force., Swakop Uranium as a token of support, donated Stationery, Hygiene Items, Reflector Vests and COVID-19 Personal Protective Equipment to the Namibia Police Force, Erongo Unit.

The donation was handed over by Mr Qiu Bin, CEO of Swakop Uranium at the Regional Head Quarters in Walvis bay. Mr Qiu in his handover speech thanked the Namibia Police Force for the good work and continued support to the Communities in the Erongo region.

Regional Police Commissioner, Andreas Nelumbu who received the donation expressed the Namibia Police Force’s appreciation for Swakop Uranium’s continued support throughout the years and concluded to say the donation will aid in their operation efficiency, especially their Road Block Search Operations, and prevention of Crimes such as robberies, pick-pocketing and house break-ins which are serious problems in the community.
