2022 Annual Event

The 2022 annual event was held on Friday 4th February 2022 with the venue filled with about 85 attendees from EXCO members, HoDs, Deputy HoDs, Superintendents, team leaders, award winners and the BEC representation.


The annual event is traditionally organized to reflect on business performance and to identify strengths and weaknesses primarily on Safety, Production and Cost. A review was done on 2021 business performance and DOAM implementation.


In the award ceremony, it was announced that the Pump Maintenance Team in PRO won the CGN Safety, Quality and Environment Model Team Award, and that Mining Shift C won the URC Exceptional Team Award. Multiple teams won the SU Safety and Production Award.



2022 DOAM and 2022 Incentive scheme were introduced in detail. Performance contracts were signed off between EXCO and Hods from all the departments. This ensures deliveries of the targets and sets the company off to a successful year.



In the CEO’s keynote address which is themed ‘Hope and Development’, Mr. Qiu emphasized that we must hold hands and meet the targets set for 2022. Success is in the numbers. Therefore, once we deliver the numbers, we can be successful in our business endeavors. This is true for both the Company and individuals. Mr. Qiu stresses that we are fully capable of reaching the targets set for 2022, and that all that’s needed is for us to KEEP THE MOMENTUM.

Turn hopes and momentum into success.
